AI Entity Governance · Singapore

AI Is Reshaping How the World Sees Your Business

AIOasia is a Singapore-based consultancy specialising in AI entity governance, compliance auditing, and brand veracity. We help organisations ensure that AI platforms represent them accurately — and that they meet the regulatory standards of a rapidly evolving landscape.

The Entity Governance Layer Between Your Board and the AI Ecosystem

When investors, partners, and regulators ask ChatGPT or Gemini about your company, the answer they receive becomes their reality. AIOasia exists to make sure that reality is accurate, compliant, and under your control.

We sit at the intersection of AI technology, regulatory compliance, and brand integrity — helping businesses across Singapore and APAC navigate a world where their digital identity inside AI models is as important as their website, their filings, or their pitch deck.

"Every company has a digital twin living inside AI. Most have never met theirs. We introduce them — and help them correct the record."

Founded by Damien Olsson, AIOasia brings a decade of experience in regulated industries — iGaming compliance, fintech, and enterprise strategy — to the emerging challenge of AI governance.

🔍

Detection

We discover what AI platforms are saying about your company — and flag when they get it wrong. Fabricated leadership, invented addresses, misrepresented services.

📊

Visibility Analysis

We show you exactly why competitors get cited by ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews while you don't — with data, not guesswork.

⚖️

Compliance Auditing

We assess your regulatory exposure across PDPA, the EU AI Act, IMDA frameworks, and MAS guidelines — with DEFCON-scored liability reports.

🔧

Remediation

We don't just find problems. Schema implementation, structured data fixes, privacy policy updates, chatbot compliance — we fix the record.

Singapore's AI Compliance Environment Is Tightening

Compliance budgets don't get cut — even in downturns. These are the regulations that govern how businesses in Singapore must handle AI, data, and transparency. Most companies are exposed and don't know it.

🇸🇬

PDPA

SGD 1M+

Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, enforced by the PDPC. Updated penalties since October 2022 allow fines up to SGD 1 million or 10% of annual turnover — whichever is higher.

  • Consent required for all data collection
  • Data breach notification within 3 days
  • AI processing disclosure (March 2024 advisory)
  • Children's data requires enhanced protections
  • Enforcement accelerating — regular fines issued
🇪🇺

EU AI Act

€35M

Article 50 transparency obligations take effect August 2026. Any Singapore company serving EU customers, visitors, or data subjects must comply or face exclusion from the EU market.

  • Chatbots must disclose they are AI
  • AI-generated content must be labelled
  • Deepfakes require explicit disclosure
  • Emotion recognition: additional requirements
  • Penalties: up to 7% of global turnover
🏛️

IMDA + MAS

Mandatory

IMDA's AI Governance Framework (May 2024) covers 9 dimensions of responsible AI. MAS's AI Risk Management guidelines (December 2024) are mandatory for financial institutions.

  • Board-level accountability for AI risks
  • Incident reporting and remediation
  • Content provenance and transparency
  • Courts now reference these in decisions
  • Agentic AI governance framework (2026)

Recent PDPA Enforcement Actions

Date Company Violation Penalty
Oct 2025 Marina Bay Sands Data breach — 665,495 records SGD 315,000
2024 Eatigo International Data breach — 2.76M records SGD 62,400
May 2024 Multiple (3 decisions) Various PDPA violations SGD 102,000
Jan 2026 People Central Data breach — 95,000 records SGD 17,500
!
The AI hallucination liability gap: Under Singapore's Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (CPFTA), businesses can be held liable for misleading representations made to consumers — including those generated by AI systems acting on their behalf. When a chatbot or AI platform fabricates your pricing, invents your refund policy, or misrepresents your services, the liability may fall on you. The PDPA's accuracy obligation (Section 23) further requires organisations to ensure personal data under their control remains accurate. As Singapore regulators move toward stricter AI accountability, the gap between "what AI says about you" and "what's true" is becoming a compliance risk — not just a branding issue.
